High quality chisel, hand forged in traditional manufacturing in Remscheid, Germany. The KIRSCHEN Werkzeuge chisel is an original and has been manufactured with the highest quality standards at the founding location for over 165 years.
The KIRSCHEN chisel – the original since 1858
The KIRSCHEN chisels are hand-forged from special tool steel with a high carbon content. With a hardness of +/- HRc 61, they are well above DIN over the entire useful length of the blade and produce a smooth cut due to their score-free polished surface. The chisels are delivered from the factory with a cutting edge angle of 25°. This angle is suitable for soft to medium hard wood. We recommend honing the cutting edge with a whetstone before first use.
Size is our greatness.
Our product range is wide. We offer chisels from 2 mm to 50 mm to cover every application.
Our product range is larger than you might expect.
In addition to chisels, we make other tools like sculptor tools, woodturning tools, notch carving tools, drawknives, plane irons and mallets.
