Three things are important to get started with the Bosch Smart Home: the controller, the devices themselves and the Bosch Smart Home app.

What is a Bosch Smart Home Controller?

The controller forms the heart of the Bosch Smart Home System. It links all your smart components to the app and coordinates all devices within your system.

Can I use Bosch Smart Home without a controller?

The Bosch Smart Home components cannot be used with the exception of cameras without a controller.

Where will my data be stored?

Your data will be stored on your smart home controller at your location. When you use remote access to your smart home, the data is encrypted to your smartphone/tablet.

Central control unit: controller connects Bosch smart home devices via the wireless protocol Zigbee and is prepared for the international smart home standard matt
Multifunctional control: Smart control of lighting or electrical shading of roller shutters, blinds or awnings (function selectable when installing)
Control of shade: brings drives of roller shutters, blinds and awnings in the desired position of height and also inclination
Smart light control: allows you to control up to 2, previously non-smart lights
For integration into the Bosch Smart Home System, a Bosch Smart Home Controller is required, which is included in the starter set light/roller shutter control
