The charger is ideal for simultaneous charging of 2 or 4 AA / AAA Ni-MH batteries. Once the batteries have been properly inserted, the charging process begins automatically. When fully charged, the overcharge protection comes into force. The charger also protects against reverse polarity or incorrect insertion of the battery. A red LED light acts as an indicator: it lights up, then the charging process is in action, flashes, then it is an alkaline battery or another wrong battery, the light is off, then the charging is complete.

USB port for charging a smartphone.

The versatile charger has a USB port (max. Output: 500mA) for charging smartphones, PDAs, iPods etc. A green LED light indicates that the USB port can be used or that the device is being charged straight away. The USB port has priority when charging AA/AAA batteries. Once the USB device is fully charged, the charger will automatically start charging the batteries.
