Keke Palmer’s Long Copper Curls Are So Pretty for Summer

Keke Palmer, where have you been? Everywhere, I suppose—this girl is always booked and busy, on set or in the recording studio, parenting, and sharing her life philosophies with the masses via long Instagram captions.

And yet… amid all the goodness she gives us, sometimes she’ll drop a post that’s especially great. Yesterday, we were treated to some Keke wisdom alongside an excellent glam moment that included major cascading curls and some matching blush.

Per usual, celebrity hairstylist Kira Dior was in charge of the style. The luxury wig and extension expert put her skills to work for the lengthy look, which fell past Palmer’s waist in tight-but-not-that-tight spirals. Though there wasn’t much short face framing to speak of (shout out to that single perfect forehead tendril), long layers and some teasing near the middle part gave the cut even more volume.

As far as color went, Palmer stuck with one of her recent favorite red shades, bumping up the brightness so her strands took on an orange-y hue. Her makeup artist, Kenya Alexis, painted her face with similarly red-toned products to bring it all together. Have you ever matched your blush to your hair? If you’re a redhead, you should try.

Keke Palmer’s Beauty Wisdom

Palmer didn’t say much about her look in the post’s caption. She did, however, touch on the subject of beauty when talking about how she’s viewed herself throughout her life.

“You know what I realized? So many of you have been seeing me—really seeing me—even in moments when I didn’t fully see myself. You caught the truth I tried to hide in humor, timing, or polish. You reflected back the pieces I was fragmented from” she wrote in part.
