How to Copy Lindsay Lohan’s Classic French Manicure

It feels like a dream that Freakier Friday is actually coming out. How could we be so lucky? And yet, every time Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan appear in public together, it becomes a little more real.

This week, we’ve had lots of content from the onscreen mother-daughter duo. They showed up in Las Vegas together to promote the movie at CinemaCon, taking the stage to discuss how much fun they’d had back in each other’s skin and offering fans a special look at the movie ahead of its August 8 release.

Unsurprisingly, both icons also took the occasion as a nice excuse to show off some great glam. I would absolutely swap bodies—or even just hands?!—to get Lindsay Lohan’s French manicure.

Medium-long and rounded, Lohan’s nail art was a quintessential French design featuring a nude-pink base, bright white tip, and major shine. It’s the kind of manicure you’d get in if you wandered into a nail salon and said “Frenchies, please.” I really don’t think you’d have to offer any other specifications, save for your desired shape.

The classic mani was shown off at various events at Caesar’s Palace, from Lohan’s moment on stage with Curtis to a quick Disney Studios red carpet and her acceptance of the CinemaCon Vanguard Award at the event’s Big Screen Achievement awards ceremony.

That’s another selling point of this design: it works with everything. It could’ve been a plot point of the first Freaky Friday, honestly: One thing both high school Ana and adult Tess can agree on: the marvel of the French tip.

Lindsay Lohan’s Cinemacon Style

Lohan had no problem when it came to matching her manicure with her outfits. Because of this, she was able to have a little fun and change things up regularly. Throughout the day on April 3, she switched from a vintage lavender Chanel mini dress to a boho teal Saint Laurent mini dress and a long, black Jacquemus gown with a plunging v-neck.

According to Curtis and Lohan, Freakier Friday will have double the body swaps of its 2003 predecessor. If that means more outfit changes, I’m even more on board.
