There was no shortage of glamour on tonight’s red carpet with Britain and Hollywood’s top talent spotlighting the best BAFTAs 2025 beauty looks.
Often a hint of the best beauty looks for the season ahead, the night’s makeup leaned heavily on monochromatic moments. Monica Barbaro and Hannah Dodd opted for soft rose tones, while Camila Cabello’s copper hues tied the look together on eyes, lips and cheeks.
Selena Gomez and Mikey Madison made a case for peach lips, which we predict will be everywhere this spring. All of which made Sarel Madziya’s latex cherry lips and Saoirse Ronan’s slash of crimson all the more striking.
Gwendoline Christie surely wins the gong for best hair of the night with her hauntingly beautiful glamorous goth-inspired ‘do. Featuring face-framing soft waves, interspersed with 26-inch micro braids tied with skinny black bows, the hair seemed to mirror the shredded sleeves of her dress.
Slicked-back buns predictably stole the show with Molly Mae, Marisa Abela and Wunmi Mosaku co-signing the look.
And that was just a few of the standout hair and makeup moments of the night.
So while the celebrities receive their awards in the limelight, it’s also a night to celebrate the hair, makeup and nail squads who work tirelessly behind the scenes and are critical to each show-stealing look.
